Extension of KCM Clinic

Jelenia Góra

Idea:

tenement house made of stone, partly wrapped up with a white scarf

The extension of Karkonoskie Medical Centre (KCM) combined two functions: a modest and elegant image of its architecturally balanced elevation seen from one of the main streets of Jelenia Góra – Bankowa Street, and expansion of medical services offered at the existing KCM, the function which optimally fills up the plot of land of an irregular shape.

The idea consisted in juxtaposing two architectural forms: geometric housing of the street and the building, the casual architectural form of which corresponds perfectly to the varied   functional program of the extension.
